“ The food at Old Salt was delicious. We went with a big group so we were able to try various types of dishes. Some of our favorites were the seafood stuffed sole, oysters on the half shell, onion rings and clam chowder. ”

“ I had the Old Salt cater my wedding at Smuttynose Brewery last Thursday (the day of the Nor’easter). There was a last minute shift to move everything indoors. Everyone was so flexible and willing to do whatever it takes to make our wedding wonderful. The whole catering team was so kind and the food was amazing! Everyone raved about it! And that leaves me with George. There are so many things I want to say about him. He saved the wedding essentially. My zipper on my dress broke to the point of no repair... well George swooped in and says “I went to school to make wedding dresses!”. He sowed me up beautifully and we went on with the ceremony. He helped coordinate me walking down the aisle and so much more. George made up two full plates for me and the groom and demanded I not get up and enjoy myself. So many people from my wedding were so grateful to him. I know that I have made an everlasting friend and he has made such a wonderful memorable wedding for us all. And that says a lot we all love George!!! ”

We especially loved the scrambled eggs, and if you know buffet eggs, you know they are hard to do! The service was great, and we didn't feel rushed at all. It was such a great, stress-free way to spend Easter. The price was reasonable, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Highly recommend! ”
